Reiki Ryoho
How about a relaxing and regenerating Reiki treatment in a beautiful, vaulted stable overlooking the valley? Reiki Ryoho is a natural hands-on healing method which promotes holistic health and well-being by gently rebalancing the body’s energy system. The Reiki energy, channeled by the practitioner’s hands, has a beneficial effect on all levels - physical, emotional and mental - whilst favoring a state of deep relaxation. Chiara Yoga
Chiara Guerrieri, Italian-born and fluent in Italian, began studying Yoga in 1983. She teaches Yoga in Seattle, and now transports this to a garden in the center of Montisi. Week-long retreats focus on Yoga twice a day, appealing to all levels. Classes are geared to students’ preferences. Chiara has lead numerous retreats in Montisi and thus has connections for cooking lessons and other interests. Her instruction is lively, accessible, encouraging and compassionate. She is dedicated to working with each student to create a safe, strong and lasting practice and enjoyment of the benefits of yoga.
Retreats have abundant time for individual or group explorations of the region and the schedule is created around group members’ other interests ~ food, wine, art, Florence, Siena…..
Chiara is a licensed massage therapist and is certified as a yoga instructor. Her love of yoga nourishes her passion for dancing Argentine tango. (Yes, lessons are possible!) Cultivating balance, awareness of center, stillness within movement ~ join this with the experience of being in Italy in the center of an Italian village…

Up to 16 guests can be comfortably accommodated in the 8 bedrooms, each with its own private bath. The villa has a private view garden, pool and a kitchen perfect for cooking lessons.

Cooking Courses
Tuscan Cookery Course in the Villa Romita
There is not a formal daily routine of cooking classes that you might join. This is a custom cookery class for people, up to 5 students, who have a keen interest in traditional foods and preparation methods and skills. Courses can be customized depending upon students’ individual interests.
Famous Tuscan foods are based upon the finest ingredients, simply and skillfully prepared. However, it was the arrival of spices from the east and the gastronomic experiences of the returning crusaders that gave birth to the Renaissance in the Tuscan cuisine. Catherine de Medici took her traditional Florentine cooking to France and revolutionized the French palates, coming to an end with another sort of revolution! If you have a passion for the food of a particular period, they will help you to create it, and then you can eat it.
Giovanna and Alberto Bindi are the owners of La Romita, a 16 seat dinner restaurant in the original Villa Romita, in the center of Montisi. The Bindi family has been in the Cinque Sorelle area for centuries.
Classes begin at 3.30 p.m. and ending at 6.30. There is a pause while the evening dinner is set up. Students can step across to Il Rondo for an aperitivo. Return at 8 pm for a full Tasting Dinner, designed by Alberto.
This is a special course that is never hurried and is not always available. It is recommended to plan ahead if this course is of interest to you.

Il Camarlengo Cooking School
Lessons Learned to Enrich Your Life. Preparation of a full meal composed of one starter, one pasta or soup, one main course, usually meat, with an appropriate side vegetable dish, dessert. Local ingredients from markets in Pienza, Montalcino, San Giovanni, Trequanda and Sinalunga. Guests are also welcome to come along to these markets to shop for ingredients.
